The story of Deuce

From the moment he was forged Deuce pretty much knew he was going to be pretty low on the totem pole of work and life. His name being basically just another way to say a number also didn't help in not making it so. Even when the war and subsequent death of Cybertron occurred Deuce's only great accomplishment was staying alive. Granted, becoming a bridge technician was also an accomplishment, but by this point the longer you have lived while in the Decepticon Army was the mark of true skill for most of his frame type.

Due to the fact he is mostly stationed on the bridge of the Nemesis Deuce has a life of chance. Some days it's one of the safer places to be, especially compared to the poor glitches that get frontline duty, and other days one feared venting air too loudly in case he is used as stress relief. Because a lot of the officers tend to congregate there which never leads to good things a lot of the time.

There's also the fact that being a bridge worker means you tend to work constantly in close proximity of Soundwave, which is enough to make anyone twitchy and paranoid.
