Character Name: Deuce
Canon Name: Transformers Prime
Canon Point: Episode 55 "Prey"
OC, AU, or CRAU Info:
Model Number 222, Batch 22 Lot 2...if Deuce actually thought deeply about such things he would likely wonder what cosmic joke he was part of in regards to all of this. Luckily he never really did, and general manual labor types like he were never really meant to question such things. Thus, for most of Deuce's early life he did what he was told and lived in his 'predestined' role on Cybertron, until things went pear shaped. Following most of his frame types, Deuce entered the Decepticon faction and well, everyone pretty much knows how that all goes down. Deuce managed to get lucky that his obedience and memorization allowed him to be tossed onto ships instead of being tossed on to the front lines. This dubious honor lead to him being one of the bridge technicians on board the Nemesis when it went to Earth. He still isn't quite sure about everything after being stasis locked by the ship, but Megatron and his Dark Energon whims are becoming a common thing by this point. Unfortunately.
He's also not too keen on Shockwave and his new science experiment being on board now. It's just a matter of time before some of them get used as samples or such when things start to settle.
Personality:
"Oh look I survived another day...I'm having very conflicted emotions about this."
That line is pretty much Deuce in a nutshell. Though, if anyone could see into his mind they would likely also make comparisons to a shaking chihuahua mixed with Simple Dog being in distress, because let's face it, being a generic goon on the Nemesis is pretty much a countdown to a horrible death. Can you really blame him though? I mean you likely would develop such nerves as well if you spent most of your waking hours on the bridge that tends to be the hot spot for a lot of Decepticon drama involving the officers. Considering how some of those conflicts tend to end in violence a lot of the time you have to give him credit for not physically cowering under his console anytime someone is in a bad mood.
If you manage to get Deuce away from his normal roost, or at a time when every officer, including Soundwave, are out and about Deuce shows he actually can talk with more words then 'sir', 'yes', 'no', and 'right away'. As well as realizing he's that stupidly obedient out of survival instincts. Meaning he likely wouldn't know what to do with shenanigans since he memorizes what he can and can't do in order to not draw an officer's attention, which may or may not end with him being dead. It's also funny to see him try and not be a nervous ball of anxiety, but not really knowing how to be. Genericons don't exactly get off days or any surety of safety in their day to day lives. Which means he's socially awkward moron who worries more about doing what he's told in order to not get shot.
